Time to regroup after our summer break!
Our next meeting is on September 9, 2008 at the East Washington Heights Baptist Church at 12 noon (check out the link to the right for address, etc). There will be lunch and a chance to reconnect after a busy summer! I hope to see you all there!

Our June Meeting
Our last meeting before our summer break will be at 12:00 Noon at the meeting place of Peace Fellowship Church (The VFW building at 1601 Kenilworth Avenue, NE). Rev. Dr. Dennis R. Edwards is the pastor. Lunch will be provided, and we ask a $5 donation if you are able.

The purposes of this organization are:
1. To provide an ecumenical forum for pastors, ministers and lay leaders of East of the River Washington, DC churches and para-church organizations to fellowship with one another.2. To provide ecumenical worship opportunities for the East of the River Washington, DC community.
3. To come to gather to evangelize East of the River Washington, DC community consistent with the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
4. To engage in collective works that build God’s Kingdom and that bring about social justice in the East Washington, DC community.
